Robert Crowley Savard

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Crowley Savard (Bobby) which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Born in Saint John on June 1, 1951 he was the son of the late Charles and Bernice (Crowley) Savard. 

Bobby was involved in an automobile accident at a young age which left him disabled. Prior to his accident he enjoyed dancing and good times with his friends.

He will be sadly missed and is survived by his sisters Catherine Helyar (Alain) of Saint John, Peggy DeFazio (Raymond) of Cambridge Narrows, Theresa Sew (James) of Alberta and Jayne Lewis (Ken) of Deseronto, Ontario; brothers James  Savard (Emma) of Rothesay, Richard Savard of Toronto and Ronald Savard (Jacqueline) of Saint John; and sister-in-law Bonnie Savard.

He was predeceased by his parents and brother Anthony Savard.

At Robert’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
