Mary Louise Harris

It is with heavy hearts the family of Mary Louise Harris, loving wife of 49 years to David Harris, announces her passing on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1941 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Louis Joseph and Mary Alice (Power) McGrath. Mary had worked in the advertising department at MRA’s. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary #6595 and also enjoyed sewing and crafting at St. Ann’s Church. She will be greatly missed by her husband David; her son Gerry (Melissa Mailman) and daughter Margaret Anne Harris (Stephen Green); sister Anne Marie McGrath also of Saint John; grandchildren Kayla and Cathleen Ganong and great-grandson Evan Bradbury; several cousins.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Friday July 21, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary service will begin at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish, 135 Simpson Drive on Saturday July 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
