I recently heard of Lloyd's passing and was shocked and saddened to hear this news. I worked with Lloyd at Brookville many years ago. He had d a way of brightening everyone's day and I loved to hear about his family, travels and adventures. He was one of the good guys and everyone who met him was a better person for knowing him. Condolences to you Linda and the rest of his family.

I was sad to be in Wicklow when I felt I should be near you all at this difficult time. Allison was always the same, positive and encouraging to others. One of my special memories is the gift I was so proud to give him . A coffee mug that said "40 is not old " if you're a tree! Only to have him graciously and softly tell me he was only 39 that year! The laugh was on me! Love to all, so pleased our " kids" stay somewhat connected ❤️.

My heart hurts today as I just got word. You may not remember me Linda, but I use to work at Brookville Carriers in Woodstock (years ago). Lloyd quickly became one of my favorites. He was such a hard worker and loved talking about his family. There was a calmness about him. The one thing I won't forget is how exited he was when I told him I was pregnant .... he wanted to give me advice... he told me to read lots of books so that the baby inside of me would know and love my voice. He told me depending on what I read, might influence the child later on. I laughed and told him I would read a lot of doctor books. We both laughed at that. He just had a way of warming people's hearts. I'm terribly sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all ❤️

I had the privilege of working with Lloyd at Brookville, when I was the operations manager of the Woodstock, NB terminal. I have worked with many drivers and brokers over the years. Lloyd was the gold standard of a great broker, great driver...and a great man. Even in the midst of bad days, when there were no loads, truck broke down, bad weather, or whatever...Lloyd never let it bother him. He always kept a positive attitude, his chin up, and carried on. I specifically remember having lunch with Lloyd at Murray's truckstop one time. Instead of complaining about the bad week he had just went through...he wanted me to know how much he appreciated all that we had done to help him get home for a recent family gathering. I scratched my head and smiled, all at the same time. The highway has lost one of it's finest. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
