Julia Antoinette McGovern

- It is with heavy hearts the family of Julia Antoinette McGovern announces her passing on Friday September 1, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1940 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Golding. Julia was passionate about her faith and will be remembered most for her kind hearted, charitable manner and love for her family.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Harold McGovern; sons Scott, Billy (Tanya), Phil (Jackie), Chris (Teena) and Jody (Tanya); grandchildren Myles, Will, Justine, Melissa, Khrissy, Nick, Taylor and Josh; one sister Gloria; several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Harry, Kenny, Georgie and sisters Donna, Janet, Dorthy, Hazel, Ethel, Grace, Dora, Retia and Gertie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Monday September 4, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.
