Joseph Albert Gregory O'Donnell

At Rocmaura Nursing Home, after a period of illness, Joseph Albert Gregory O’Donnell, loving husband of 38 years to Rita (McMillan) O’Donnell, passed away on Friday, August 19th, 2016. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, he was the son of the late Louis and Emma (Taylor) O’Donnell.

Joe believed in strong family values, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.He was a Pipefitter by trade and was well respected by his colleagues throughout his 53 year career. Joe was a friend of Bill W, had a deep love for the outdoors and especially fishing.  

Left to mourn is his cherished wife Rita (McMillan), loving children; Joey O’Donnell of Ontario, Joanne (Geoff) Thorne of Saint John and Cathy (Brett) McMillan of Toronto, two brothers; Tedd (Shelby) O’Donnell of Ontario and Charlie O’Donnell of B.C.

He will be forever remembered by his grandchildren Alicia (Ryan) Nason and Kyle (Samantha) Thorne.

In addition to his parents, Joe is predeceased by his brother, Larry O’Donnell and sisters, Pat O’Donnell and Mary Wolfe.

Joe’s arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.  A time of remembrance and refreshment will be held following the service.
