Harriet I. Quinlan

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Harriet Irene (Campbell) Quinlan which occurred at the Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, May 25th, 2017. Born 1924, in Riverton, PEI, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Cecelia (Gay) Campbell.
Harriet worked for Barnes Hopkins for several years before retirement. She also worked as a seamstress. She was past President of St. Joseph’s CWL. Harriet was a great cook and a social butterfly.
Harriet is survived by her loving husband Harold Quinlan of 67 years; son Ronald Campbell (Shirley) of Ontario; niece Cheryl Boyd of Saint John; great-nephew Kenneth Dallon (Crystal) of Willow Grove; special friend Cathy McCaskill; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Harriet was predeceased by her brother John Campbell and sisters Sylvia Boyd, Catherine MacKinnon, Loucille Hilder, Lillian Henderson, Melissa Yorston, Peggy Dalziel, Wilma Goldenburg and Eva Lewellen.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (4347 Loch Lomond Road) on Tuesday, May 30th at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Harriet may be made to a Living Memorial.
