Gale Pamela Mazerolle

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gale Pamela Mazerolle of Saint John, loving wife of Ray Mazerolle who passed away at Bobby’s Hospice surrounded by her family, on Saturday March 28, 2015. Born April 30th of 1950, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Buckley) Mortimer. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a strong and courageous woman, who loved her family. Besides her husband Ray, Gale is survived by her son Wade O’Leary (Royanna) of Cambridge Narrows; daughters Angela Pye (Tim) and Denise Doiron (Terry) both of Grand Bay-Westfield; step-sons Richard Mazerolle (Brenda) of Halifax and Brian Mazerolle of Hampton; brother Walter Mortimer of Saint John; sisters Aileen Gallant and Nancy Williams both of Saint John and Lorraine Soucy (Gill) of Sussex; three precious granddaughters the love of her life Ava Pye, Kailee and Caitee, and one step-granddaughter Gabrielle; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, friends and Life Long friend Deanne Blizzard, special friend Ghislaine Roussel and canine companions Sweetie and Maggie. Besides her parents, Gale was predeceased by special sister-in-law Sharon Mortimer.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Private family burial at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gale’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
