Dear Sister Margaret and All Family.

It is with much Love and Sincere regrets that we send this note of Berevment to you in the passing of Bro. Edgar. However, we know that his Graduation to his Eternal Reward is a Blessing as he lived a great life and you had many years of happiness and now you have great Memories to draw from. No more pain. No regrets.

Barbara and I have missed our “Pew” Buddies at Church. You have always been a very special couple to both of us over the Years. Your radiant smile has been missed by many of your Family at CT. You have been more than a Faithful and Loving Wife to Bro. Edgar. Long have been your hours as you cared for him. Yet, you remained happy and always upbeat. Never a downer. You are a rare gem.

We look forward to other good times together in the Days to come. Know we are only a phone call away if you should ever need us. To All Family we know that you mourn the passing of a great Father; Father-in-Law; Grand Father and Great Grand Father. You each have your own special moments to draw from. Your lives are richer because of a man called Edgar Wheelock.

Prayers and Blessings to each of You.

In His Grip,

Norman and Barbara.

My wife and I are sorry to hear of Edgar's passing. We remember visiting with you while we were camping at Oak Point when our kids were just small. It was nice to see you at my mother's visitation back on December 22nd at Calvary Temple just two weeks ago. Mom and Edgar were born just nine days apart and even though we will miss them we can take comfort in knowing that we will see them again in God's own perfect timing. Blair E. Bartlett

Mr. Wheelock's presence was a comforting benefit of growing up in Grand Bay; my condolences on your loss. I had the pleasure of running into Mr. & Mrs., in Saint John, over the years and always had a pleasant chat. My cupboard contains some pieces of his woodworking which will be a constant reminder of your wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

I remember the first time I became aware of your mom and dad. They were sitting at the subway in Grand Bay, having lunch and talking--(really talking to each other, looking into each other's eyes and smiling.) I remember thinking to myself how absolutely beautiful they were. Later on of course I met them at Beulah and at church functions---then to my utmost surprise, I realized that I knew both of their daughters. You will all miss this lovely man---BUT have that eternal HOPE that you will indeed see him again. I pray the Lord gives you His peace during this difficult time. Blessings.

Dear Margaret, Barb, Betty and family,
We were sorry to learn of the death of Edgar. We have memories of him here in Grand Bay-Westfield, walking with Margaret, and attending worship at Grand Bay Baptist Church. We recall his smile and his firm handshake. We are grateful that Edgar was following the Lord Jesus, who said,"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me though he die yet shall he live." John 11:25 We are remembering you in prayer.

It is with broken hearts that we extend our sympathies to Margaret and the girls on the loss of a devoted family man who, along with Sister Wheelock, left indelible images in our mind's eyes and in our hearts. We'll always picture them as being together despite the fact Edgar has gone ahead to their Master's home, Heaven. We remember them as being young at heart even in their later years. Years spent at Mactaquac, where we would see them swimming way out by the ropes, enjoying a campfire or making new friends. We prayed with them in their fifth wheel and learned to love them even more than before. We also visited them at Oak Bay, Crystal Beach, at home and gladly for anniversary celebrations. Send them a card and they would call to thank you. So sweet, including the last of our visits at Carleton-Kirk. Edgar nodding off but seemingly unable to leave the roman who loved him so well. It will only be for awhile, Marg ... and He's in God's care!
