Doris Ethyl Taylor

It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Doris Ethyl Taylor of Grand-Bay-Westfield. Doris passed away on Sunday October 4th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born on April 27th, 1922 in River Glade, NB, the daughter of the late Nelson and Essie (Troop Wheaton) Snider. Doris is survived by her sons Colin of Clairmont, AB, Gary (Gilda) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Alfred (Mary) of Leesburg, VA; daughters Daphne Francis of Brown’s Flat and Dulcie Langlais (John) of Lancaster, ON; sister Irma Kaye of Moncton; eleven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband Elsworth Mackay Taylor; brothers Helmer and Clement and sisters Deloris and Lavonna;  and son-in-law  Blair Francis.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By Doris’s request there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in Doris’s memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
