We wish to express our condolences to the family of Don Hersey. I, Judy, was his roommate at the St. John Regional Hospital on Nov. 7 - 9, then taken back to Charlottetown by ambulance. Thank you Don for your words of faith and your beautiful voice as you broke out in song at various times. May our Father of all comfort sustain and bless all his family during these days of sorrow.
In Christian Love,
Judy and Wayne Proude

Thank you so much for your kind words of condolence on the death of Don. It was so unexpected as he was recovering well and hoped to be coming home. He was on two or three heavy blood thinners and started to bleed and had complications that set him back,. Our hearts are broken, but we are trusting with the Lords help we can come through this time. Trust all is well with you folks . God Bless.

Sandra I was shocked and saddened to hear that Don had passed away. It had been so nice running into you both not too long ago. Don was so happy and excited about the work he was doing at the church! He will be missed! Our only comfort is knowing that he is finally home! Thinking of you today and keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandra; We were so surprised to hear of Dons passing while we were visiting out west with our eldest son. When I think of Don, I see that great wonderful smile, that hearty laugh and powerful hand shake that was so much uniquely Don! Our sincere Condolences to you and to the family! As believers in Christ we have this great promise and hope; "Absent from the Body, Present with the Lord! "

My Papa was the most kind hearted, sweet, and gentle man I knew. He was always there for me. Always had kind words for me and the best things to say about me even when I was the most perfect grandchild. I'll never forget my Papa. I regret moving out of province and not being able to see him when he needed family support the most. I wish I was able to be present as his funeral but if he is watching over me he knows I love him so much and just because he isn't here with me I will never forget him and he will never leave my thoughts or my heart. I loved him so much.

Only had the pleasure of meeting Don & Sandra a couple of times recently and enjoyed our time together very much. We know good people when we meet and spend time with them. He will be missed around the Lighthouse of Faith by many and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. But GOD makes our time to grieve a short one and our reuniting a long one. Let GOD be your guide. May HE bless and keep you.
