Carolyn Edith Martin

 It is with sadness the family of Carolyn Martin announce her passing which occurred at home on Wednesday February 15, 2017. Born in Saint John on July 4, 1949 to the late Donald and Colleen (Mabee) Duncan. Carolyn worked for NB Tel  in the accounting department retiring in 2000. In earlier years she enjoyed swimming, skating and bowling. Carolyn was  devoted to her family.  She enjoyed reading and watching television.  She is survived by her son Andrew David Martin and granddaughter Hannah both of Saint John; brothers Steven Duncan (Darlene) and Paul Duncan (Barb); sister Elaine Duncan (David Smith) all of Saint John; special niece Hilary Duncan (Michael); several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; friends and feline friend Piper. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By Carolyn’s request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Sand Cove Road, West Saint John on Friday February 17, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. Family to depart Fundy Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with a procession to the cemetery.  Donations in Carolyn’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
