Brian Wayne Smith

SMITH, BRIAN WAYNE – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Brian Wayne Smith which occurred at his home on Saturday, August 27th, 2016.  Born January 25th, 1966, in Saint John, N.B., he was the son of the late Clyde and Mary (Pursey) Smith.  Brian worked for Simonds Taxi for the past 12 years. He enjoyed reading and watching war movies and documentaries.

Brian is survived by one brother, Kevin (Judy), two sisters Elaine Barriault (Shawn) and Bonnie Machum, nieces, Ashley, Mary Lynn, and Tamra and nephews Christopher, Shawn, Matthew and Darcy as well as several great nieces and nephews and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, August 31st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 1st at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian’s memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
