Welcome to the memorial page for

Brenda Louise (Gill) Logan

December 10, 1956 ~ February 14, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years Old

With great sadness the family of Brenda Louise (Gill) Logan announce her peaceful passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.  Brenda was born on December 10, 1956 in Fredericton, NB to Lloyd Gill and the late Elizabeth “Betty” (MacWilliam) Gill and was the loving wife of 42 years to Frank Logan.

Brenda worked in office management at various industries through the city, most recently at Saint John Toyota and Brett’s Chevrolet before retiring in 2009.  She may not have felt ready to retire but this gave her the opportunity to do what she loved; spend time with her family.  Brenda was a very devoted and caring and involved mother.  She was a hockey mom and was active in Beavers and Cub Scouts for her boys as they grew up, always participating with a smile on her face.  She was a loving and caring person, brave and tough and strong through all of her ailments.  She loved to laugh, loved to dance, and was the life of the party.  She will be forever missed by those who had the opportunity to meet her and spend time with her, and be warmed by her gaze, but she will be missed most of all by her loving family.  Her children and her grandchildren were everything to her, and she was taken from them far too soon.

In addition to her loving husband Frank, Brenda is survived by her 3 sons; Francis (Sarah), Matthew and Anthony, 5 grandchildren; Hailey, Mya, Charlie, Katie and Natalie, 3 brothers; Robert (Debbie), Ronald (Karen) and Brad, sister Debbie Gill, along with several nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.

Along with her mother, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Gloria Logan, and two brothers-in-law Ronnie Logan and Richard Wilson.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6-8 pm and Friday, February 17 from 3-8pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9am from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (91 Waterloo Street, Saint John) with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations made in Brenda’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
