Yvon Joseph Cormier

It is with heavy hearts the family of Yvon Joseph Cormier announces his passing that occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 2, 2023. Yvon was born August 2, 1951 and was a son of the late Alexandre and Emilienne Cormier.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ella (Munro) Cormier, his cherished children; Mark (Brianne), Sarah (Trevor) and Laurie Pittman (Drew) along with his son in law Mike McHugh, grandson Oakley and nephew Gary Colpitts.

Since 2015, Yvon had become known as ‘Yeah Yeah’ to his grandson Oakley and all that knew him.

Along with his parents, Yvon was predeceased by his brothers; Omer and Henri along with his sister Alvina Colpitts.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Although there will be no formal visitation or funeral service, memorial donations towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
