Yan Wong Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Yan Ting Wong, which occurred on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 14th, 1949, in China, Yan worked as a Cook at Golden Wok before retiring in 2018. Yan enjoyed spending time at Tim Hortons and the Exhibition Park Raceway.
Yan is survived by his daughters Cynthia “Cindy” Wong and Lisa Wong (Dan) all of Saint John; brother Paul Wong of Saint John; sister Mei Jin Zeng of Toronto; grandchildren Zach, Dylan, Liam, Oscar, Simon and Kevin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Yan was predeceased by his parents, siblings and 1 niece.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). As per Yan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
