With heavy hearts, the family of Bill Peacock announces his passing, which occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on May 1st, 2020. Bill was born in Saint John on July 23, 1961; a son of the late William G. and Martha (Harvey) Peacock, and the loving husband of Pam (Ford) Peacock. Bill was a long time employee of Industrial Security. He was also a dedicated volunteer Firefighter with the Simonds Fire Department, where he retired from as the Deputy Fire Chief. Bill was extremely proud of his heritage; he was the 3rd generation of William Peacock, his son is the 4th, and his grandson is the 5th. Bill was also known as Santa Claus, bringing Christmas joy to the staff and residents of the Loch Lomond Villa. Along with his wife Pam, Bill is survived by his son William (Michelle), daughter Wendy Ford, brother Andrew (Erin), sister Linda, as well as grandchildren Ashley Bannan, Martha Grace, William, father-in-law Wendall Ford, brother-in-law John (Mae) Ford, as well as his niece Melissa, and nephew Devon. In addition to his parents, Bill was pre-deceased by his sister, Brenda.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the KV Extra Mural team, and the staff of the SJRH Heart Function Clinic, especially to Bill’s “heart angel”, Jane Boyd-Aucoin. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424).  For those who wish, remembrances to the SJRH Heart Function Clinic would be appreciated.
