William Malcolm Wright

It is with heavy hearts that the family of William “Bill” Malcolm Wright announces his peaceful passing on Sunday October 11, 2020 at Fundy Nursing Home in Blacks Harbour. Born in August of 1940, he was the son of the late Lewis and Leola (Barton) Wright.

Bill was a Mechanic by trade and began his career with Arnold Tucker before leasing the Texaco Garage for almost 10 years. In 1985 he built his own garage which he proudly ran from home until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the Lions Club, ATV Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking bus tours with Jean.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gloria Jean (Holland) Wright of Pennfield; one daughter Lynn (Michael) Shaw of St. George; grandchildren Alicia (Corey), Sarah (Nicholas) and great-grandchildren Gracy, Sawyer, Rowan and Quinn.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. At his request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
