William Albert Wood

William A. Wood of Saint John, New Brunswick passed away on October 28, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on November 20, 1934, in Saint John, he was a son of the late Frank and Florence (nee. Smith) Wood.

Will is survived by his beautiful wife Rosalie (nee. Boyd); brother Frank; children: Suzanne (Neal), Keith, Robert, and his chosen son Kevin; grandchildren: Seger (Sienna), Jake, and Gabriella; sisters-in-law Eileen and Paulette; and as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends who will remember him fondly.

Besides his parents, Will is predeceased by his brother Ron (Aileen, deceased), brothers-in-law Garnet and Howard Boyd, and his sister-in-law Barb.

For nearly 91 years Will was known by all to live a full life. From the earliest years of his youth and well into adulthood, he always found the balance between hard work and adventure. Likewise with his retirement, where supporting the dreams of his family and travelling with his wife were great pleasures. Furthermore, Will’s curiosity and his never-ending love of learning took him well into his final years. They were a testament to the youthful joy that sustained him.

Will’s Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, beginning at 12:00 PM in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. Directly following the service there will be a time of remembrance and refreshments in the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Center.
