Wayne Maurice Wetmore

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Wayne Maurice Wetmore which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 31, 2020. Born on July 20, 1944 he was the son of the late William and Marie (Murphy) Wetmore.

Wayne was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Family always came first for Daddy Wayner. He will be especially missed for his funny expressions, nick names that he had for everyone, his humor and his daily phone calls (you know who you are).

 He is survived by his wife of over 52 years; Sandra (MacKenzie) Wetmore, his children; Stephen (Carla) Wetmore and Michelle Flinn, his brother; Reverend Brian Wetmore, sister; Vivian Wetmore and his special grandchildren; Andrew, Meaghan, Gavin, Cameron, Haven, Colin, and Aiden and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Allison, and brothers; Doug and Bill.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland road (506-646-2424), due to the global pandemic, a funeral service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
