A man with a heart the size of a mountain has left us on July 24th, 2020.

 Wayne Chatterton, loving husband of Lynn (Dufour) Chatterton has gone to heaven to be with his Lord and his parents Louise and Barrett Chatterton.  He was born in Saint John NB on November 9th, 1941.

 In his earlier years, he joined the Navy Reserve to fulfill his desire to travel and to serve.  He continued on that path when he went to work at the Post Office, a job he absolutely loved.  He retired in 1999 after a 32 years career.  He so enjoyed serving and meeting the public!  He was a proud member of the Letter Carriers Union of Canada and later joined the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. 

 Beside his wife, he leaves behind his son Dwayne (Michelle), his daughter Kelli Landry (Steve Mason), grandchildren Justin (Katy) Chatterton and Grier Landry, his great-grandchildren Ava and Ben Chatterton, his brothers John Chatterton (Bette Ann), Garth Chatterton (Wanda), and the mother of his children Gail Chatterton.  He also leaves behind his adoring in-laws, Denise (Wayne) Gillespie, Gerald (Lise) Dufour and Odette Dufour along with his cherished cousins, nephews, nieces, many friends, very special friends, his golfing buddies, and his Tim Horton's crew.  Left to mourn him is also his Faith Community of Silver Falls United Church.

 Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law Albert Dufour and mother-in-law Hectorine LeBlanc, brothers-in-law Leon & Pierre-Marie Dufour and sister-in-law Jacynthe Dufour. 

 To honour his generous heart, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate if you extended a helping hand to someone, or made a donation to Browns Cemetery, c/o Belinda Hunter, 48 Shore Road, Saint Martins NB, E5R 1S8.

 The family would like to acknowledge the loving care given to Wayne by Dr. Le, Dr. Campbell, Dr. Reiman, Dr. Naz and the staff at SJRH 5C North.

 Arrangements are in the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).   The funeral service will be officiated by The Rev'd Steve Longmoore from Silver Falls United Church, Saturday morning August 1st, 2020 at 11am from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB with condolences starting at 9:30 am in the Chapel.   Immediately following the Service, in memory of Wayne's love for food, family & friends, a lunch will be served by Silver Falls UCW at Lynn & Wayne's residence where covid-19 protocol will be followed. 

 At 1:30 pm, family and friends who wish to come to Browns cemetery, 199 Shore Road, Bains Corner may do so for the committal officiated by Keith Lyons.
