Wayne Archer Obituary

Wayne Donald Archer born November 13th, 1952: It is with deep sadness we announce Wayne passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on September 21,2025. He leaves behind his loving wife,  Fran Archer ( Daley) , his son Chris Archer who he loved so much, Daughter in law Jennifer Oakford , and his two grandsons  Alexander Archer and Jaxson Archer ( the loves of his life) along with his wife’s family and all their children . He always said how lucky we were to have such a wonderful extended family. Also we cannot forget the great friends we had over the years that brought so much fun and love to our life and he wanted you all to know it meant so much to him. You all know who you are! He loved all of you.

Wayne had many talents in the art category and for many years painted Christmas themed windows at uptown stores as well as at his workplace . He also got into photography as a hobby and did many wedding photos for friends, family and sometimes strangers who wanted to hire him. He also loved to fish something he very much enjoyed with his son Chris ,brother in laws, and many friends.  Later in life he took up guitar which he really enjoyed as well. All this and much more was his life with family and friends.

Wayne was predeceased by his Mother Dorothy Archer (Flewelling), his father Donald H Archer and his brother Kenneth C Archer.  Wayne worked at Irving Pulp and Paper until he retired at age 55 where he made lifelong friends.

There will be a celebration of life at O’Malley’s on Rothesay Avenue starting at 6:00 pm until 10:00pm. On November 15,2025. Drop by and stay a bit. If you have any stories about Wayne bring them with you. It will be open mic so share a story or a song or two.
