Vincent Elvin Thompson

It is with profound sadness that the family of Vincent Elvin Thompson, loving husband of the late Sharon Thompson, announces his passing which occurred on June 22, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock, NB, he was the son of Basil Thompson and Louise (Barrett) Levesque.

Vincent started work at the age of 19yrs. working for 37 years.  He was a welder having worked at SJSB Ltd. While running his motorcycle shop.  He was an avid motorcycle racer.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Shelley Burhoe (Gordon), Tracie Hayward (Tracy); daughter in law Anne (Mark) grandchildren Cooper, Zachary, Rosa, Michael, Iain, Walker, Florence, Travis; great grandchildren Camden, Everly; brother Kim Levesque (Anne); sister Rose MacDonald, along with several nieces, nephew, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Mark.

Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of SJRH, 3BN, for the excellent care given to our dad.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) where visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A Celebration of his Life will be held in the Fundy Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2025, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Please help us keep the environment scent-free, as there are sensitivities within the family.
