With heavy hearts, the family of Veniene Ann Regenbogen announces her passing on September 4, 2024, at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 1, 1954, in Harvey, NB, Veniene was the daughter of Ellen (Osgood) and the late Donald Brennan.
Veniene was raised in McAdam, where she participated in a variety of sports. After graduating, she moved to Montreal and later to Ontario. There, she met her future husband Bernie, and she formed a close bond with Bob and Cathy Aldridge and their twin daughters, Megan and Caroline, whom she cherished and cared for as if they were her own.
Veniene was a dedicated member of U.C.T for over 23 years, serving in various executive roles, including past president, past regional president, and secretary. She and Alice McCarville were known for their joy and enthusiasm, bringing happiness to those around them.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she was the heart that kept everyone together. Veniene loved spending time at the lake, enjoying swimming and the beautiful views. She had a passion for dressmaking and interior decorating and was an avid singer, participating in several choirs.
Veniene will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 42 years, Bernie; her mother Ellen; her children Michael and Candace; her treasured grandchildren Makayla, Lydia, Jayden, A.J., and Rowan; her great-granddaughter Mollysue; her brothers Glen (Tammy) and Daniel (Tracy); her sisters Heidi Hanlon (Greg) and Kathleen McRae (Paul); and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her daughter Shannon and her sister Susan Hickey (Tim).
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 3AN and 3BN for their compassionate care during Veniene’s journey.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) on Sunday, September 8, 2024, visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of the Assumption Parish on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
