With heavy hearts, the family of Theresa Marie Rogers announces her passing, which occurred on October 8, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 21, 1947, in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Albina (nee. Doiron) Brun.
Theresa was married to the love of her life, Thomas Rogers, for 55 wonderful years. Together they built a beautiful life and family, which she cherished above all else.
Theresa worked at The Dr. Robert’s Hospital and then went on to become an Educational Assistant at the Vocational High School and Simonds High School. She had a wonderful relationship with all her students and held a special place in her heart for them.
She loved spending summers at their trailer in Grand Lake, surrounded by family and friends. Theresa had a passion for cooking and baking—always ready to share cookies, fresh bread, or a delicious meal with those she loved. She was a social and spirited woman who enjoyed chatting on the phone and keeping up with everyone’s news. Her favourite place to shop was Giant Tiger, and she treasured the time spent with her many friends.
Theresa adored her grandchildren and loved watching them play sports. She was also a loyal fan of the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Blue Jays, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Thomas, daughters Shelly (Andrew) and Jullie (John), cherished grandchildren Amelia and Jack. Theresa is also survived by her sister Anne-Marie Cormier, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Jean Brun, sister Melita Brun, and brother-in-law Ovide Cormier.
