Theresa F. Lagasse

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Theresa Faith Lagasse which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Friday, June 19th, 2020.  Born, 1937, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Mary (Girouard) Coveney.  In her earlier years, Theresa worked at the Sugar Refinery and she also worked as a cleaner at the General Hospital.  She was an avid reader who enjoyed shopping and watching movies.  Theresa cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Christine Lagasse of Saint John; son Ron Robichaud of Saint John; grandchildren Shyla Lagasse and Matthew, Natasha and Nathan Robichaud; great grandchildren Brooke, Bella, Declan, Chloe, Alexa and Layla.  Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers Gerald, Art, Roy and Robert Coveney and her sister Rita Wisted.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Service details are pending at this time. Donations in memory of Theresa may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
