It is with heavy hearts that the family of Theresa Aileen Brooks announce her peaceful passing on October 13, 2020 at her residence. Born on December 25, 1929 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Alvina (Robichaud) LeBlanc. Theresa is survived by her husband Lawrence Brooks; her sons: Ronald Ferris (Sandra), and Terry Ferris (Jacqueline) all of Saint John, NB, Robert Ferris (Lise) of Keswick Ridge, NB, Kevin Ferris (Dawn) of Springhill, NS; her step-sons: Lawrence Brooks (Andrea) of Hampton, NB, John Brooks and Steven Brooks both of Saint John, NB; her brother Francis LeBlanc (Sylvia) of Toronto, ON; her grandchildren: Tosha, Shannon, Danielle, Lise, David, Blake and April; her great-grandchildren: Tyler and Oliver. She is predeceased by her siblings: Amelia, Mary, Emaleen, Celina, George, Gerald, and Lawrence. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). A private graveside will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Friday October 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue would be appreciated. The family wish to extend a special thanks to Carol (Landry) and Doug Brooks.
