Terry Lee Patricia (LeBlanc) Thorne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Lee Patricia Thorne, who left us peacefully on November 23, 2025.

Born in Saint John, NB, on February 5, 1964, she was the daughter of Joseph Leblanc and Barbara O’Brien (Gould). She married Bill Thorne in 1992, and together they raised two children: Bill (Nony) Magee and Brittany (Alex) Thorne. Terry adored her beloved grandchildren - Lewis, Willow, and Abigail. 

Terry was a proud marathon runner and a dedicated member of the Irving Oil family, until 2007, when she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and began a long and difficult journey.

We would like to express heartfelt gratitude to her cousin Sharon (Rob) Henry and her sister-in-law Faye (John) Thorne, whose unwavering care, support, and love meant more than words can ever say.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  In honour of Terry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or formal service. On what would have been her 62nd birthday, a Celebration of Life will take place on February 5, 2026, from 6–9pm at Lily Lake Pavilion.  For those who wish, memorial donations in her memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
