It is with heavy hearts that family of Terrance “Terry” Kenneth Gray announce his passing on Thursday February 11, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on the 4th day of April 1947, he was the son of the late Clarence and Doris (Lunnergan) Gray. Terry was employed with the Sugar Refinery until it’s closing and then went on to work for Cooke Aquaculture until his retirement. He was the chairman of the Environment Committee for 6 years and was instrumental in the fight for the smoking bylaw. Terry was a long-time member of the Latimore Lake Community Centre including past treasurer. He was a devoted family man who attended many of Amanda’s dance shows and enjoyed reading Stephen King novels
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Gail (Beyea) Gray; his children Darryn (Sharon) Gray, Amanda (Keni) Watkins and Reyn Gray; his brothers David (Sue), Gerald (Florence) and Danny (Krista); stepsisters Shirley and Delores (Pete) as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Charles and Eldon and brother-in-law Ray.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
