Ross, Margaret, Colin and Nick wish to thank everyone for acknowledging the passing of our son, brother and father, Steven. Your prayers, condolences and donations were greatly appreciated. Also to Fundy Funeral Home for their compassion and direction during our bereavement.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Steven Janes (Cappy), announce his passing which occurred at Bobby's Hospice on Monday, January 30th, 2023 following a valiant battle with cancer. Steven was born on April 27, 1974 and grew up in Hampton, New Brunswick.

Prior to his military career, Steven loved working in the movie and entertainment industry. His passions in life were fishing with his son Nick, exploring beaches and playing in the ocean waves.

Steven is survived by his parents Ross and Margaret (Lambert) Janes, his son Nicholas Mowery, brother Colin Janes, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Steven's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).

A private family ceremony will take place at a later date.

We would like to thank Bobbi-Jo Hiltz, Stevens Primary Care Provider, Doctors, Nurses, Extra Mural Staff and Bobby's Hospice for their care and attention to Steve while at home and in their care.
