Shirley Shewbridge

With heavy hearts, the family of Ann Shirley Shewbridge announces her peaceful passing on August 11, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 18, 1943, Shirley was the daughter of the late Albert and Olive (McKinnon) Brown.

Shirley found great joy in tending to her garden, where she nurtured beautiful flowers with care and love. She also enjoyed crafting and making ceramics.

She will be deeply missed by her son Daniel Shewbridge and her grandson Josh Shewbridge (Jaleeza). Shirley is also lovingly remembered by her brothers-in-law Bill and David, as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband John Shewbridge, brother Lou Brown and her sisters Betty Dawn Burns and Diane Gray.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). As per Shirley’s wishes, no formal services will be held. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Rescue or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
