Shirley Moulton passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, October 7.
She is survived by her twin sister Linda Moulton of Saint John and many many friends.
She is predeceased by her brother Harold Moulton and sister Marilyn Moulton.
Shirley was one of our Saint John Uptown characters. She had a very challenging life but that did not cloud her positive outlook and compassion for others. There are many many store workers, health care workers, bank employees, receptionists, Tim Horton staff and others who received regular friendly visits and gifts. Although on a disability pension Shirley regularly donated to the SPCA and St.Joes Hospital. She could be seen pre-COVID whizzing down the hallways at St. Joseph's Hospital – far to fast!
Shirley was a tough nut. When she felt disrespected, she could challenge anyone – but had a heart of gold – especially for her kitties.
Shirley you wheeled through life – May you now run in heaven!
Celebration of Life Friday at 12 noon, October 16th (Shirley's long time friend/chaplain Rick C. Benson Officiating) at Cornerstone Baptist Church – the former Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home – now Outflow Training Centre. Please use Richmond Street side entrance. Seating is “bubbled”.
