Shirley Mary Moore

Shirley Mary Moore passed away peacefully, with family by her side and in her heart at home in Cambridge-Narrows on September 16, 2022.  She was born in East Saint John on June 4, 1933, to the late Edward and Florence (Ryan) Doyle.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Gerald, son Thomas and brother Edward “Bub”.  She is survived by her sons Christopher (Yvonne) of Salisbury; James of Fredericton; Michael (Jennifer) of Titusville; Gregory of Fredericton; Patrick of Cambridge-Narrows; daughters Lucinda “Cindy” Moore of Fredericton; Donna Moore of Cambridge-Narrows; Anne Richard of Kincardine, ON; Elaine Simpson (Darryl) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Alicia Oram, Michael Moore, Thomas Richard, Matthew Richard, Madeleine Simpson and Henry Simpson; great-grandchildren Chloe, Ally, Marley, Ben, Brady, Kaylee and Matthew; several nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Catherine Moore of St Stephen and cousins Douglas Vincent of Quispamsis and Marjorie Cosman of Saint John.

Shirley loved God, her Church, her Family, and friends.  She prayed for everyone, and she always did what God asked of her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Stella Maris Church, at 10:00am, Thursday, September 29, 2022, followed by a reception at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  Donations in memory of Shirley to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
