Shirley Catherine Stewart

On December 17, just 5 days shy of her 91st birthday, Shirley Catherine Stewart went peacefully into the arms of the lord, reuniting her with her beloved husband of 51 years, Royce Stewart. Born on December 22, 1934, Shirley was the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Justason.

Shirley found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life. She loved playing the piano for church and took great pride in being a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed time spent at the family cottage in Beulah, where many special memories were made. More than anything, Shirley adored her one and only granddaughter, who was the absolute light of her life.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her son Christopher (Sarah) Stewart, and granddaughter Allie Stewart.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
