Sebastian Douglas Daley

It is with joy, sadness and heavy hearts the family of Sebastian Douglas Daley announce his passing which occurred at home in Saint John, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday May 2, 2021. Born in Saint John on April 24th of 2007, he was the loving teenage son of Eric and Patti (Cunningham) Daley of Saint John. Sebastian was a loving curious young boy whom his parents adored. A Grade 8 student at Bayside Middle School who throughout his life faced many challenges. His family were by his side every step of the way. Sebastian was thrilled and excited about Sea Dogs hockey especially the Zamboni; and was Fleaburn’s biggest fan. He enjoyed laughing, swimming, mowing the lawn, snow mowing and time spent with family and friends.

Along with loving and proud parents Eric & Patti Daley, Sebastian will be sorely missed by his big sisters Natasha of Chipman, NB and Chyanne Daley of Digby, NS; five nieces, one nephew; grandparents Malcolm and Patricia Daley and Darlene Cunningham all of Saint John, aunts & uncles Elaine Daley, Norman Daley, and Chris Cunningham (Sherry); cousins, classmates; friends and special canine companion Van-Gogh and soul mate Buddy. Sebastian was predeceased by his grandfather J. David Cunningham, his aunt Crystal Daley and niece baby Edeen.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424. A Celebration of Sebastian’s Life will be held from Grace Presbyterian Church, 101 Coburg Street Saint John  on Friday May 7th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery. Due to the current pandemic and public health restrictions, seating is limited; guests are asked to RSVP by calling 646-2424.
