Sarah Jade Yates

It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Sarah Jade Yates which occurred in Langley, BC on Saturday, November 20th, 2021.  Born 1985, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Henry and Mary Shelly (Fanjoy) Yates.  Jade was a free-spirit who loved nature.  Her favorite fictional character was Eeyore and her family was most important to her.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  

Along with her parents, Jade is survived by Ben Crouse and his father Mike of North Carolina; brothers Henry James Yates (Stacie) of Saint John; Matthew McClary of Saint John; sister Dale Collins of Victoria, BC; nieces Mya, Courtney and Katie; as well as her crazy aunts and uncles from the Fanjoy side of the family.  Jade was predeceased by her infant son Henry Leonard, maternal grandparents Norman and Marcelle Fanjoy and sister Debbie Crouse. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) and Arbutus Funeral Service Inc. in B.C.  A private Memorial Service for Jade will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Jade may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue, CARMA or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
