Sabra P. LaFrance

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Sabra Perley LaFrance. Sabra lived her life with grace, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family. She found joy in life’s simple moments and treasured the time she spent with those she loved most.

She is survived by her son Jeff, daughter-in-law Ann, and granddaughter Katlyn, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She is also survived by her loving siblings: Carol Jean Burtt (Gordon), Gail Hart (Bob), Sharon Gallup, Russell Smith (Pat), Craig Smith (Vicky), and Mike Smith (Corie).

Sabra is also survived by her sisters-in-law: Marie Smith, Barb Smith, and Barb Briggs, as well as by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eldon LaFrance; her brothers Reid Smith, Wendell Smith, Farrell Smith, and Dwight Smith; her sisters Sadie Miner and Bird Palmer; and her brothers-in-law Cecil Miner, Norris Palmer, and Robert Gallup. She was also predeceased by her nephew, Marty Palmer.

Sabra had a love for animals that was truly remarkable — from the tiniest bug to the largest creature she could rescue. Her gentle spirit and compassion extended to all living things, and her kindness will never be forgotten.

Sabra’s warmth, her laughter, and her steadfast love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Sabra and Eldon will be laid to rest at the Pine Grove Cemetery (Burton, NB)  August 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM; all are welcome.
