Ryan P. Smith

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ryan Patrick Smith, which occurred on Friday, October 21st at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born 1994, in Saint John, he is the son of Shari Smith.  Ryan worked for CIBC.  He was a loving and devoted father to his adoring daughter Blair “Baby” who was his pride and joy.  Ryan will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Along with his mother Shari and his daughter Blair, Ryan is survived by his grandmother Sandra Smith of Saint John; uncle Steven Smith (Glenda); cousins Kate Smith and Heather Smith; Godmother Tracy Murray; Godfather Ryan Mabee; as well as several great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.  Ryan was predeceased by his grandfather David “Smitty”, his cousin Drew, his great aunt Maureen Smith and great uncle James Jeffrey. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, October 27th from 2 to 8 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Friday, October 28th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
