Ruth Gertrude Logan

Ruth Gertrude (McDowell) Logan died May 7, 2022, at the age of 92.  She was born November 13, 1929 on Pennfield Ridge, Charlotte County, New Brunswick to Bertha (Hawkins) and Ernest McDowell.  She was predeceased by her husband Walter A. Logan in November 2010, her son Malcolm Ernest Logan July 1979; and by her brothers: Ernest McDowell and Rupert McDowell.  Ruth is survived by two daughters: Beverly (Rev. Edward) Powell and Dianne (Dr. Christopher) Hammond; her grandchildren: Graeme (Catherine) Powell, Andrea (Liam) Taylor, Victoria Hammond and Valerie Hammond; and by her great-grandchildren: Michael and Nicolas Powell and Isla Taylor.  She is also survived by her brother Don McDowell and her sister Joyce McDowell; as well as by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Ruth was an X-Ray technician at both the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital, retiring in 1991.   Her life was lived in faith and trust in Jesus Christ.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to True Life Church, 30 Vincent Road, Rothesay, New Brunswick E2E 1A5, or to Camp Tulakadik, P.O.Box 367 Norton, New Brunswick E5T 1J7.
