Ruth Ann Cameron

It is with heavy hearts the family of Ruth Ann Cameron announce her passing on Sunday, March 30th, 2025.  Beloved wife and best friend of devoted husband Keith Bradley Cameron.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her daughters Karla Moore (Allen Hamilton), Kimberly Moore (Derek MacFarlane), Laura Kennedy (Troy Ferris) and Debbie Kennedy (Kyle Appleby), and bonus daughter Chas Urquhart (Dan Urquhart).  Ruth will also be missed by her brothers Eldon Ferris and Norman Ferris (Jerri) as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who filled Ruth’s heart with joy, pride, and love.  Ruth is predeceased by her brothers Frederick and Benjamin Ferris.  She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends who adored her.

Although Ruth worked at many places, her favorite job far and above all else was caring for her grandchildren, especially sleepovers.  One of Ruth's greatest loves was the love she and Brad shared for their cat Ellie.  Ruth enjoyed many beautiful days at McLeod’s beach since childhood, she is remembered by friends for her marble and card playing and showing off her latest find from a day of visiting yard sales.  She also greatly enjoyed her time playing bingo, reading and any time spent with family, especially over the Christmas holidays. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  In keeping with Ruth's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at the Seaview Community Center on April 13th, 2025, 1pm- 4pm.
