Roy Edward Braydon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Edward Braydon on October 10, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  He was born on August 30, 1930 in New Jerusalem, NB to the late William and Lillian (Barnett) and was the loving husband to wife, Shirley (Purdy) Braydon.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by his sons, Mark (Joanne), Glen (Dorothy) and Wayne (Mindy), several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, being predeceased by his parents, brothers, Robert, John and Norman and his sister, Eleanor.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  In keeping with Roy’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place.  For those who wish, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
