Ron is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina Cole; his son, Teagan Cole; his daughter, Carissa Tremblay; his stepdaughter, Samantha Palmer; his stepson, Jake Estabrooks; and his sisters, Terry Lynne Balcaen and Kathy Horn. He was a devoted grandfather to five cherished grandchildren—Alexandre, Israel, Rylee, Olivia, and Evelyn—and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his sixth grandchild in May.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Merle (Stewart) Cole and Fred Cole.
An exceptional educator, Ron dedicated his life to teaching and continued to share his passion for education even after retirement, serving the Grand Bay–Westfield community with commitment and care. His impact extended far beyond the classroom and will be felt for years to come.
Ron found great joy sailing the Saint John River and cheering on the Winnipeg Jets, especially alongside his wife Tina. He deeply loved his dog, Lily, whose name was inspired by the restaurant where Ron and Tina shared their first date. Originally from Manitoba, Ron treasured time spent snowboarding at Asessippi Mountain during the winter months and wakeboarding in the summer.
Ron will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and the Grand Bay–Westfield community, who were fortunate to know him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). In keeping with Ron's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will commence at a later date.
