PALMER, ROBERTA JOAN (CASE)  

1933 – 2023 

It is with broken hearts that the family of Roberta Joan (Case) Palmer announce her passing, after a period of failing health, at the age of 90.

Roberta is survived by 1 daughter Jocelyn Osburn; 2 grandsons Curtis Osburn (Katie Richard), Craig, better known as Bubba; cherished great grandson Michael all of Saint John; 1 special sister Joline Munn (Otto) of Parker’s Ridge, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and life-long friend Nancy Ferguson.  Roberta was predeceased by her parents Ella and Joseph Case, her husband Gerald and son Stephen, 8 brothers Everett, Ernest, Hedley, Stanley, Stirling, Kenneth, Kendall and Robert and 3 sisters Edith, Rita and Betsy.

Mom enjoyed fishing in her younger years at Porters Cove in the Miramichi.  One place she never forgot.

Special thanks to Murray Street Special Care Home for caring for mom and also to the nurses and staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424).  Keeping with mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private burial will take place at Astle Cemetery in Astle N.B. at a later date.  Donations in memory of Roberta may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
