Robert Gordon Johnson

Robert Gordon Johnson, age 75, died August 27, 2024.  Son of the late Robert Gordon Johnson and Ruth Shirley Lavers. Beloved husband of Linda Getchell Johnson. Father of Robert Burns Johnson and Heather Kathleen Johnson-Thibeau (Marcel).  Grandfather of Hunter and Macey Thibeau.  Siblings David (Mary Ann), Peter (Lyne), Harlan (Marco), Elaine (Brad). Nephews Eliot (Stacey), George (Emily), Nathaniel, and Cameron. Nieces Veronica (Dan) and Katie (Matt). Great Nephews Alfred, Max, Oren. Great Nieces Josephine, Isla, Zoya, and Dalvay.

Bob was amateur radio operator VE9CL. He was a 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus member.

Bob battled cancer starting in November 2010. Thanks to all the help he received along the way, most recently from Dr. Margot Burnell and Dr. Graham MacNeil, all those in the Department of Oncology, extramural nurses, especially Kelly, those working in the ER, plus the health care workers on the various floors of the Saint John Regional Hospital, where he spent 80 days during the past 9 months.
