Robert J. Gaudet

It is with broken hearts the family of Robert J. Gaudet, loving husband of 60 years to Norma (McGraw) Gaudet, wish to announce his passing which occurred on May 28, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Saint John on March 15, 1940 he was the son of the late John and Lena (Doyle) Gaudet. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family with the passing of his brothers Jack (Evelyn) and Steve (Hazel).

He was employed for over 40 years with Labatt Brewery.  He was very active with the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Parish, a long-time member of Arc-En-Ciel, enjoyed playing 45's and shooting pool, horse racing and watching the old movies.  He was a Toronto Maple Leafs fan through and through.  Above all else his family was the most cherished part of his life. 

Besides his wife Norma, he is survived by his children: Bob (Kim), Lynn Yammine (Samir), John (Rosalie) and Brian (Kim), his grandchildren; Nicole (Travis), David, Maria, Gregory, Emilie, Ally, Samantha and Faith, his great-grandchildren; Charlotte and Emmett along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family is thankful for the great care and support from the staff of the Regional Hospital and the staff and residents of Carleton Hall of the Parkland Retirement Center.  They especially wish to thank Dr. Simona Parascan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Friday June 11th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
