Robert Joseph Burke

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Joseph Burke wish to announce his passing which occurred on November 5, 2023. Born October 3, 1938 to the late Lloyd and Mary Elizabeth (Goodine) Burke.

Robert was a very hard-working man and he worked as a hospital orderly throughout his career. He loved nature and spent many hours on the trails at the Irving Nature Park. He was a very kind person.

Robert is survived by his sons: Vincent and Tony, brothers:  Jack Burke (Irene) and Joe Burke (Joanne); his sister Rita Leslie; his very close friend Caroline; and his friend Rae; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sister Marie Dileo “Mimi”.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
