Robert Allan Arbeau

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert Allan Arbeau announce his passing on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 14, 1956, he was the son of the late Joseph and Isabel (Nickerson) Arbeau. Robert worked at Brett Chevrolet in the car detailing department for 14 years. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and was a member of the Saint John ATV Club. Robert had a great love for all animals, especially his canine companion Bailey.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda (Kelly) Arbeau; his children Jason (Sirena) Arbeau and Tanya (Dave) Shepherd; brother Joseph (Agnes) Arbeau; grandchildren Shaunna, Jacob, Jade-lynn, Ava, Kaleb, Demi and Addison; special friends Billy Rodgerson, Rochelle and Claudia’ several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Bud and Kempton and sisters Etta and Jean.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at Fairvale Outing Association (8 River Road, Rothesay) on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, NB Lung Association or the SPCA Animal Rescue.
