Rena Corey

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rena Marie Corey, loving wife of the late Meryle Corey, announces her passing on Sunday June 14, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in September of 1939 in Rogersville, NB she was the daughter of the late Cyrille and Josephine (Gallant) Gallant.

Rena worked as a porter at the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years. She loved to travel and enjoyed camping, bingo and listening to music.

She is survived by her brother Francis (Carol) Gallant of Abbotsford, BC; sisters-in-law Edna Gallant of Saint John and Cecille Gallant of Rogersville, NB; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Emile, Glasse and Cyrille and sisters Anna Richard, Dora Thibodeau and Bella Doucette.

Arrangements are the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road. Due to current health restrictions, all services will be held privately for family and close friends, by invitation only. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
