Reginald Joseph Goguen

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the unexpected passing of Reginald (Reggie) Joseph Goguen at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Reggie was the cherished son of the late Oliver and Alice Goguen. He lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and generosity. A skilled carpenter, he operated his own business and shared his craftsmanship through countless projects for others.

In addition to his trade, Reggie dedicated himself to his car service and took great pride in his Lincoln Town Car, always ensuring that his passengers were well cared for.

Reggie also found joy in his personal passions. He was an avid bowler, often spending two to three nights a week at the lanes and celebrating milestones such as surpassing a score of 400. During his time at Rocmaura Nursing Home, he especially enjoyed musical entertainment, outings, and relaxing on the deck with friends.

Reggie’s warmth, humour, and generosity touched all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he enriched.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Kim (Chuck) Williams, Ivan (Louise) Goguen, and Brenda (Mark) Raynes, along with their mother, Rhona Goguen. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Yolande, Carmel, and Romeo; his five grandchildren Adam (Kelsey), Vanessa (Kirk), Courtney (Adam), Justin (Brittany), and Josh (Audrey); seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind sisters-in-law Bernice Goguen and Doreen Goguen, and brother-in-law Glendon Gallant, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Reggie was predeceased by his siblings Leona, Francis, Omer, Rodrigue, Geneva, and baby Francis.

Arrangements entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506)-646-2424.  A graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Friday, October 10th, 2025 at 2:30 PM with a reception to follow at the family home.
