It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Regina Marie McNeill (Richard), who passed away at the Loch Lomond Villa on May 12th, 2022. Regina was born on August 23, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Richard.
Regina worked at Barbour’s Spice Plant, McCready’s Pickle Plant and The Coffee Plant. After her second child she chose to be a stay-at-home mom and took great care of her children. Regina loved to sew and knit, play Bingo and loved her favorite TV shows. She loved her summer vacations on the Miramichi.
Regina will be deeply missed by her children Carol Ann (Harrison) Wilson, Michael (Tanya) McNeill, Mary (Paul) McKiel and Hugh (Terri Lynn) McNeill; brother, Frank Richard (Barb); grandchildren Kevin, Ashley (Colin Heissner), Darcie (Zach Thompson), Justin (Emma Hoch), Ben, Emily, and Kate; great grandchildren Jemma and Vayda Heissner, and one that will be joining our family in the coming days.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Hugh McNeill, her brothers Joseph Richard and Alexander Richard, brother-in-law Joseph McNeill and several half brothers and sisters.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Monday, May 16th, 2022 between 2 – 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Stella Maris Church on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
A special Thank you to the staff at the Loch Lomond Villa for the exceptional care and kindness they have provided to mom during her time with them.
