Raymond Joseph LeBlanc

After a life well lived, Raymond Joseph LeBlanc passed away on December 5, 2025, at the Loch Lomond Village – Willow House. Raymond was born in Sainte-Anne-De-Kent, New Brunswick on February 16, 1930, to the late Robine and Marie (nee. Doucet) LeBlanc.

Moving to Saint John at the age of 25, Ray worked as a labourer for the build of St. Joseph’s Hospital and a CPR Trucker, finishing his career at the Saint John Dry Dock. Ray had many enjoyable days in his retirement which were often spent walking neighbourhoods and other areas of Saint John. We are happy for Raymond that he finally got his wish to get on the next “walk” of his journey.

Ray, known affectionally as “Bossy” is survived by many nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law Larry McPhee with whom he had a special relationship.
Besides his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his wife Jacqueline (nee. McPhee); brothers: Oswald, Romeo, and Stanley; sisters: Emelia, Odette, Stella, Eliza, and Germaine; good friend Frances Mailette; and special sister-in-law Pat McPhee.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Loch Lomond Village. Everyone on the Willow House floor, and staff from other floors, provided Ray with exceptional care and compassion. He had fun and lots of laughs about who would be “bossed” each day.

Visitation for Raymond will be on Wednesday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. A Funeral Liturgy take place in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 12:00 PM with interment directly following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. After the burial the family invites guest to join them back at the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Centre for a time of fellowship and refreshments.  Donations in Raymond’s memory can be made to the Loch Lomond Village.
